"CGNAT": you are assigned a IP within the 'shared' address space; legal implications as these are similar to other 'private' addresses and should not leave the boundary of an 'administrative domain'. Is your BYO modem in their 'administrative' domain?
"IP over Ethernet": This addressing scheme means that you cannot trust which DHCP server is assigning you an address; nor can you trust the gateway router that it directs you to.
"DNS Issues": When querying 8.8.8.8 (Google
DNS); responses are altered in transit. The same occurs when accessing "https://google.dns". When support was asked if this is acceptable, the response was (paraphrased) "how does this measurably affect your service?".
Support is not helpful, and response times are slow.
They did not respond to a request to add 802.1X authentication, or something similar.
